Every Monday
night, my church encourages us to have a “Family Home Evening.” It is so fun
that once a week we have a night set aside to be together as a family. We
always try to do a fun activity that brings us closer together.
One of my most
favorite Family Home Evenings we have had recently was a night of setting “House
Rules.” It was SO fun to see what we came up with. Choose the Right, Be kind,
Don’t be dumb (our family motto), SMILE and the list goes on. I encourage you
to gather your kids, grab a piece of paper and come up with your own list. I
know your children will have a great time and you will feel love in your home
as you work together!
